Garlic Parmesan Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes



  • 5  large potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Peel and quarter and boil potatoes in salted water.
  2. Warm milk, butter and garlic in a pot until butter is melted.
  3. When potatoes are fork tender, mash with potato masher or with hand mixer.
  4. Add in milk mixture and continue to blend.
  5. Stir in sour cream, parmesan cheese and salt and pepper.
  6. Serve warm.

What to do with left over mashed potatoes!!! Make delicious pasta!

Preparation time: 35 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes


You Will Need
2 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (more for dusting)
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 egg beaten
2 tablespoons softened butter
salt and pepper to taste
large pot boiling  water
1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce, warmed
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

What to Do
1. In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes,  parmesan cheese, flour, butter, egg, pepper and salt. Mix with  your hands or a spoon.
