Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks. I usually do the low fat microwave popped version at home, but whenever I go to a fair in the fall I always get a big bag of caramel or kettle corn and inhale it. I discovered this awesome gourmet, organic popcorn company 479° Popcorn online and was thrilled when they sent one of their awesome sampler packs for me to try!
The founder Jean Arnold is a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef and she said that “479° Popcorn began with a fond childhood memory of cozy evenings spent playing cards and devouring fresh popcorn with my family. My mom refused to serve anything other than organic popcorn cooked in a sturdy stovetop popper that she’d hand crank until the kernels turned into a delightful fluffy treat. I set up a tasting station for my family and we loved them all! My kids loved the Vietnamese Cinnamon Sugar and my husband liked the Pimenton de La Vera.
I LOVED the Fleur de Sel! It is the best caramel corn I have ever had and the sprinkling of sea salt gives a great contrast of salty and sweet!
